Suzhou based engineering company, Rein Process Equipment designs and fabricates 100 bbl Vertical Surge Tank and 1440 psi three phase test separator, which will be ready to ship from stock by the end of 2020. Equipment is under fabrication now in our assembly facility in China.
Vertical Surge Tank
The vertical surge tank is a vessel which functions of secondary separator and storage vessel for the produced liquids and gases coming from the test separator.
Surge tank can be classified as single-compartment and twin compartment based on the requirements of well testing operator. Surge vessel usually consists of tank body, sight glasses (level indicators), pressure and temperature indicators, relief valves, level alarm system, and skid for holding whole unit. In some areas with high presence of waxy substances, the vessel of the surge tank is designed with steam-heated heating coils to maintain proper temperature.

1440 Three phase test separator
The test separator is the most important equipment for the operators to obtain data of well steam and separating it into three phases, oil, gas, water. The test separator is either horizontal or vertical, equipped with high-precision mechanical and digital data-recording and data-transmission devices, such as gas meter, chart recorder, transmitters, liquid flow meters, analyzers. The test separator separates well effluent to three or two phases, usually gas and liquid phases, and measures the behavior and properties of each phase, providing meaningful test results to the operator.
The test separator consists of vessel body with professionally installed internals, such as inlet diverter, coalescence plates, wave-breakers, wire plates, mist extractor and vortex breakers, which increases the separation efficiency. The composition of the internals varies based on the client requirements. The separator vessel is installed on the frame (skid) which houses the piping with valves, instruments, sampling ports and safety devices.
