Equipment description 

Surface Well Test Equipment shall be trailer mounted. Trailer shall accommodate Surface Safety Valve (SSV), ESD Panel, Chemical Injection Skid, Test Pump, 4-Valve Diamond-shaped Choke Manifold, Data Header, 3- and 4-Phase Separators, Surge Tank, Laboratory Room, Transfer Pumps and Piperack.  

Flowhead, SSV and ESD Console 

Package shall consist of primary emergency shut-down valves, one as SSV skid, one in Flowhead assembly. Flowhead and SSV will be connected to ESD console and operated as fail-safe. It means actuators will be charged with hydraulic pressure, when emergency occurs, operator will shutdown by pressure push-buttons on ESD console, where other three push-buttons installed in several process equipment, such as heater, test separator and laboratory cabin or surge tank. 

Data Header and Choke Manifold – pressure reduction 

Upstream of SSV is Choke Manifold, which reduces flowrate, thus, pressure of the flowrate, conditioning pressure below 1440 psi. The main valve of Choke Manifold is the choke, either adjustable or fixed (positive). 

Indirect Line Heater (Water Bath Heater) 

Heaters are very essential oilfield equipment, when well fluids need to be heated up for better separation and avoiding fouling in the pipeline. Rein Process Equipment supplies 1 MMbtu and 2 MMbtu heaters, as well as other configurations, for well testing and oil production. Please note that oil heater shall be located in a safe distance to avoid casualties as it has fuel-supply system and burner, which can be harmful if not properly managed. 

Horizontal Test Separators, High-Stage and Low-Stage Separators

Test Separator is the most and most complex equipment of well testing. Test Separator separates fluids into oil, gas and water, as well as meters flowrate, pressure and temperature of each outlet lines, giving precise data of well testing. Also, test separators of Rein has multiple ports for obtaining samples of oil, gas and water. Gas outlet line is equipped with gas meter, gas recorder, pressure controller and all necessary instruments and parts for effective and safe gas measurement. 

Metering and Storage Tanks 

Vertical Surge Tank (Metering Tank) and Atmospheric Gauge Tank are designed to store the liquids, allow well test operator conduct calibration of test separator, and provide secondary gas separation (surge tank only). 

Crude oil transfer pumps 

Crude oil transfer pumps are required to empty one tank, while fill another tank. Also, transfer pumps discharge crude oil to crude oil burner during well testing. 

Diverter Manifolds 

When all equipment is placed, equipment shall be connected with HP and LP lines. Crude oil 5-way manifold is very convenient to effectively move crude oil from one direction to another. While gas diverter manifold diverts gas either to one or another gas-flaring unit depending on the wind direction. 

Operator Cabin (Control room)

Rein designs and supplies container-shaped office and control rooms for oilfield operations. Composition of control room depends on the client’s requirements, but shall have several important issues to be considered, such as escape hatch, gas detector, firefighting, pressure and temperature monitoring parts.
