Rein finished develops three types of horizontal test separators for well testing and production_01.png

Test separators are important devices used during surface well testing, flowback and production. Test separator is designed to separate well fluids into three phases, oil, gas, and water. Rein also offers 4-phase separators to handle sand and solids which are present in well stream.

Test separators are designed based on working and environmental conditions. For H2S-containing wells, separator is designed for sour service, which means construction materials of separator skid which are exposed to working media shall comply to NACE/ISO or equivalent local standards for selection of materials for application in highly corrosive areas.

Each separator consists of gas measurement and recording instruments, such as orifice plate & fitting, Coriolis flowmeter and mechanical and/or digital recorder. Liquids (oil, water) are measured by turbine flowmeters or Coriolis flowmeters which proved their reliability during well testing and production applications. Shrinkage tester is another special measurement device which provides more accurate data about well behavior. Shrinkage test is a special vertical cylindrical unit which is connected to gas and oil line. Shrinkage tester has instruments, such as level gauge, pressure gauge, thermowell, and instrument valves.

Rein designs and supplies test and production separators with durable components, using famous-brand instruments. Separator vessel complies with ASME VIII DIV 1 and U-stamped. Skid can be designed either for offshore or onshore applications.
