Desulfer is a vertical vessel to remove H2S from the gas. As per customer’s requirements, in the process of the project, three absorber towers(columns) are used. One of the adsorbers is in purification mode, another in regeneration mode, the third one is in cooling mode. Operating mode switching of adsorbers is carried out every 8 hours. Alternate operation of three adsorbers ensures the continuous operation of unit.
The proposal has 6 non-standard equipment including 3 towers. All non-standard equipment are manufactured in China. The medium of the equipment is flammable, explosive, moderately toxic and has certain corrosivity; the design temperature of the equipment is not high, and the design pressure is within the range of medium and low pressure. The equipment is mainly designed according to GB150-2011 standard and co-conforming ASME standards.
